The brief
LNYDP is short for London’s New Year’s Day Parade, a parade which over the last 38 years has brought thousands of talented youngsters, many from the USA, to brighten up the streets of London on New Year’s Day with their cheerleading and marching bands. Displays from London Boroughs and speciality attractions add to the spectacle which has raised millions for London charities. For ten years we’ve produced the live television coverage of this three and half hour event for network tv across the USA. It’s a huge live tv production, covering the 3 miles of the parade from start to finish.
Associated with the LNYDP event are a series of 6 classical and chorale concerts featuring the talented musicians from America.
These concerts which take place over the New Year period, are held in a variety of locations in London. We film them for later download.
